Ingnieur de formation ou quivalent universitaire Bac 5, avec une spcialisation dans le domaine spatial, vous justifiez dun moins 10 dexprience. Vous avez de bonnes connaissances en Structure TM lanceurs, dcommutation temps rel, simulation SCETM, Oprations Lanceurs au CSG lanceur et besoins temps rel exploitant et Sauvegarde en traitementvisualisation TM Vous maitrisez LINUX REDHAT 5, 7, MANDRIVA, C, C, shell, Python SLGMS, QT, GRACE, PostgresSQL Une exprience oprationnelle dexploitation de TM serait un plus Adaptabilit, curiosit, autonomie sont des qualits quon vous reconnait. Your role at EUMETSAT This is an opportunity to support the definition of our ground segment requirements and to analyse, verify and test proposed changes, assessing their impact on the whole system. We support new ideas from our colleagues and partners, with a focus on innovation and emerging technologies. You will support the transition of newly developed ground segments into operations. You will work with our international partners to ensure that our interfaces are operational. With a background in ground segment engineering gained in a 247 operational environment, ideally in Earth observation missions, you will have experience of managing projects and budgets across the development lifecycle. You will understand the processes, standards, tools and methodologies used to verify and validate developments. You will work with our international partners and colleagues, using your strong interpersonal and communication skills to interpret and present complex problems and solutions. You will be core to defining the requirements for our future missions. Your Mission One of the main tasks of the DLR GfR mbH is to operate and manage the constellation of Galileo satellites from the Galileo Control Center in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany. For the performance of tasks in the Galileo operation team of our Operations Department in Oberpfaffenhofen, Germany we are looking for Space Segment Maintenance Engineers. This position focuses on spacecraft anomaly investigation, recovery strategies and workaround development. Responsibilities Analysis of spacecraft anomaly and anomalyhandling procedures Planning and implementation of test and recovery procedures Support of Galileo operations with focus of anomaly recovery and improvements Analysis and development of new operational concepts and improvements with focus of service oriented spacecraft operations Analysis, development and production of operating products such as procedures Analysis of tasks in Galileo operations and procedures regarding performance reduction and satellite lifetime Performance and trend analysis Providing service in compliance with Key Performance Indicators Skill Requirements Masters degree in engineering or equivalent preferred in aerospace engineering or equivalent A minimum 3 years of experience in Space projects industry satellite operations Expert knowledge of at least one of those subsystems AOCS, Galileo Payload, TCS Experience in SC Assembly, Integration and Test AIT, SC design, unit andor avionics software development beneficial High analytical skills and flexibility Good level of spoken and written English High communication and negotiation skills Team Player
