The FTC on Wednesday announced a settlement with Trendnet over its lax security practices. The action stemmed from privacy invasions that occurred in January 2012, when hackers posted live feeds to the Web from nearly 700 cameras made by the company. "Right now, we're doing enforcement, as you can see from the Trendnet case," said FTC spokesperson Peter Kaplan.
