The Australian reported that the Federal Court ruled the Australian manufacturer of Winnebago vehicles should pay 1% of all vehicle sales A between 2004-10 to American Winnebago Industries Inc. While the U.S. Winnebago firm had been manufacturing RVs under the name since 1959, an Australian company had been making the Winnebago-branded motorhomes for sale in Australia since 1978 without the permission of the U.S. entity.
