The Key Person will be required to travel to Airbus DS, in Bremen, Germany, for temporary assignments. Package description Full details on application. Relocation assistance provided if applicable. Main responsibilities The candidate will report directly to the Head of the MPCVESM Baseline, Verification and AIT Section. The position will be nominally in ESTEC, Noordwijk NL. Temporary assignments to Airbus DS, in Bremen are part of the services having no cost impact. The position will consist of the following activities Follow up on a daily basis of the timely execution of the EM 1 assembly , integration and test activities Follow up of the timely and successful implementation of the qualification test plan at EM1 vehicle level Follow up of the timely and successful implementation of the acceptance test plan of the EM1 Equipment and subsystems reviews for what concern the AIV activities Tracking and review of all the test reports from the EM1 verification plan and the resolution of encountered anomalies Main milestones review meetings of the EM 1 Master Schedule Follow up of the EM2 assembly, integration and test activities in parallel to the EM1 campaigns Obtain from Airbus delivery managers the sub companies AIV activity progress against the critical path for subsystemsequipment and report to the project Report activity progress against the critical path of EM 1 assembly , integration and test activities Other duties in the area of competence as may be required. In particular the Service may include support to working groups where the MPCVESM Baseline, Verification and AIT Section is involved Responsible for Daily logbook, meeting Summary Notes, weekly report about EM1 assembly, integration and test activities and weekly report about Airbus Subcontractors AIV. Ideal candidate The candidate should have a PhD or MSc Engineering from a recognised Institution of secondary studies University or equivalent Should have minimum 4 years relevant experience The candidate shall have relevant qualification in Aerospace Engineering together with Assembly, Integration and Verification experience In addition, background and experience in other space projects definition and implementation of AIV activities is also required Should have excellent planning, organization, interpersonal and communications skills Should be able to follow industrial assembly, integration and test activities The candidate shall have a demonstrated ability to work within a complex programme structure Working language is English, knowledge of German language is an asset.
