Dutch multi-play market growth slows, at 6.5 mln subscribers

(Telecompaper) Growth in the number of multi-play households is slowing, with already 84 percent taking two or more services from the same provider. In the first quarter of 2017, 38,000 multi-play subscribers were added in the market, for a total 6.54 million, according to the Telecompaper report 'Dutch Consumer Multiplay Market'. Over 14 percent took a quad-play plan, with the three fixed services TV, broadband and fixed line as well as mobile telephony.

Dutch multiplay revenues top EUR 1 billion in Q2

(Telecompaper) The market for multi-play telecom subscriptions in the Netherlands is now worth over EUR 1 billion per quarter and is growing steadily, according to the latest research by Telecompaper. Revenue generated from multiplay subscriptions rose 4.5 percent year-on-year in the second quarter to 2016, as more broadband households sign up for multiplay services and move from triple-play to quad-play subscription.

Multiplay bundle subscriptions drive UK revenue growth

From 2015 to 2020, UK Quad Play revenues will triple, while total multiplay market revenues grow by 34 percent. Double Play subscriptions will peak in 2016 and begin to decline as customers move to Triple and Quad-Play bundles.
