Flint Group acquires Xeikon

Xeikons products and services will be the foundation of a newly created division to be called Flint Group Digital Printing.

The five-color digital label press runs at up to 98 fpm with a resolution of 1200 x 3600 dpi.

Customers will be supported in South Africa, Zambia, Tanzania, Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique, Madagascar and Mauritius.

The press is based on Xeikon Cheetah digital print technology and was launched for global availability at Labelexpo Europe.

The move was prompted by the digital press maker's strong growth in the Latin America region.
