Successful Candidate Proven experience working experience Proven experience as a .NET developer is required Experience with DotNetNuke DNN CMS is required Working knowledge of other programming languages such as Python and PHP are a strong advantage Proven experience in relational database design and implementation is a plus. Preferably MS SQL Server Working knowledge of web servers is an advantage. Preferably IIS 6.0, other are a plus Apache, and Tomcat etc. Experience in upgrading, configuring and debugging existing systems is also considered Knowledge of Good knowledge of .NET and DNN CMS Good knowledge of HTML, CSS, XML, jQuery, JavaScript and web services 3 Good knowledge of designarchitectural patterns, e.g. ModelViewController MVC An asset is Knowledge of Remote Sensing RS and Geographic Information System GIS software suites Knowledge of Space data specifications and categories satellite platforms, sensors Very High Resolution sensors, and High Resolution sensors 3 Knowledge of Space data access mechanisms, including data processing, data application scenarios and data services e.g. OGC services CSW, WMS, WCS, WPS Knowledge of Experience in working with panEU spatial datasets 5 Ability to understand and create conceptual frameworks including UML 6. Knowledge in standardization of GI follow ISO 191xx series standards on geographic information data, follow process of standards SW development Language skills, and miscellaneous English, written spoken, knowledge of other EU languages is an advantage 2 Very good written and communication skills.
