Main Responsibilities Main Responsibilities Definition of the test approach and ensuring its successful implementation Identification and definition of the required tests Monitoring of detailed testing progress and results in each test cycle Evaluation of the overall quality experienced as a result of testing activities Identification of the appropriate techniques, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests Provision of guidance on the corresponding resource requirements for the test effort Creation of the verification and validation plan Creation of the test plan including estimating and resource scheduling Creation of the test scripts based on test design techniques Identification and preparation of test data Implementation of tests Automation of tests Execution of tests Management of issue workflow Analysis of test failure Preparation of test reports Preparation of validation reports Assist in identifying suitable test resource requirements. The Ideal Candidate Professional qualifications required Relevant professional qualifications e.g. ISTQB Certified Advanced or Expert Tester Specific experience required Expertise in one or more of the following System testing functional and nonfunctional testing Integration testing Performance testing Automation testing Security testing Data testing migration, ETL, analytical reporting Ability to use the testing tools and methodologies as specified in the service request Experience with CASE tools Knowledge in IT Service Management andor Risk frameworks, andor international standards Communication abilities Receive and understand instructions Deliver messages clearly, including via formal presentations Time management capabilities Ability to monitor progress against plan Ability to recognise the need to escalate issues as they become apparent Supervisory experience is desirable Leadership capabilities are desirable Important Any offer of employment is contingent upon you providing documents to verify your identity and employment eligibility, as required by law. Tasks and Activities The scope of work will in general include Establishing a clear scope for the penetration test based on specific requirements Writing the test procedures in accordance with Requirements , Being part of the test team planning and executing the tests in the various control centres. Identifying higherrisk vulnerabilities that result from a combination of lowerrisk vulnerabilities exploited in a particular sequence Identifying vulnerabilities that may be difficult or impossible to detect with automated network or application vulnerability scanning software Performing risk, impact and damage assessments Providing intermediate reports on regular basis Providing recommendations such as mitigating the identified exploitable vulnerabilities Drafting penetration testing reports Maintenance and continuous improvement of the penetration testing process Skills and Experience You have the following skills and experience You have at least a Bachelors degree in IT Security, Engineering or equivalent You have proven work experience minimum 3 years as a network security engineer or information security engineer with experience in Penetration Testing activities. You have good command on dealing with security systems, intrusion detection systems, firewalls, antivirus software, log management, authentication systems, content filtering, etc. You possess strong interpersonal skills, team working, good analytic and problem solving capabilities. You have strong communication and documentation abilities. You have good time management and organizational skills You are fluent English, Italian would be a plus.
