Blue and Green: The latest data from Europes CryoSat has revealed that Arctic sea ice in October was slightly lower than that recorded in 2013. However, researchers added that the data does not necessarily indicate a turn in the long-term downward trend. In 2012 Arctic sea ice cover shrank to its lowest ever point.
