It’s county fair time and ranch and farm families across the country are in the middle of show season. Yes, showing livestock and participating in other 4-H and FFA projects at the county fair is a great experience for both kids and parents. No, showing livestock at county and state fairs doesnt teach kids anything about the commercial cattle business. read more
