South Australia's trucking industry says it is winning the fight to stamp out drugs, with less than 6 per cent of drivers returning positive tests during a recent police operation targeting truck safety. An annual national truck inspection blitz called Operation Austrans resulted in nearly 3,700 drivers being tested in SA, with 217 returning positive tests.

Nevada Legislature: Assembly OKs bill resolving fight between solar, NV Energy

The Nevada Assembly has approved a bill that aims to resolve a fight between rapidly growing rooftop solar installation companies and NV Energy. Rooftop solar companies had been protesting the state's 3 percent cap on net metering, which allows people with solar installations at their homes to send excess energy back to the utility company for a bill credit.
