Bernie Sanders pounds the presidential campaign trail calling for higher taxes on the rich to provide more for the less fortunate, the top U.S. airlines are turning to loyalty program models built on the reverse logic: taking reward seats from passengers in coach and giving them to those in first class. "What you have is a redistribution of mileage wealth to the high-yield passenger," said Jay Sorensen, president of Michigan-based IdeaWorksCompany, which does annual rankings of airline rewards programs' seat availability - a long-standing sore point among frequent fliers.
