In this article, I will try to decipher the few clues that Nelson Peltz has gave over the last month as to his two new mysterious positions X & Y, which make up a substantial portion of the Trian Fund assets but will not be publicly disclosed till 13-F's are released for the second quarter. In a Seeking Alpha news brief the only clue given was: All three positions are "consistent with the sectors and geographies we have historically invested in."

Studying the gastric cancers of 15 Southeast Asian patients, researchers at The Jackson Laboratory, the Genome Institute of Singapore and other institutions identified five recurrent fusion genes, one of which appears to lead to cellular changes involved in acute gastritis and cancer. Worldwide, close to a million cases of gastric cancers are diagnosed each year, and some of the world's highest incidence rates are in Asia .
