Intel launches 5G network card, sees 5G modem platform complete by year-end

(Telecompaper) Intel launched at Mobile World Congress its FPGA Programmable Acceleration Card for 5G networks. The N3000 accelerates many virtualized workloads, ranging from 5G radio access networks to core network applications, the chipmaker said. Intel also announced that Ericsson is adopting its new SoC for mobile base stations and it's working with Skyworks and gateway manufacturers on integration of its 5G modem, with the first products available for testing by year-end.

Orange sees small slowdown in EBITDA growth in 2019 on tough French, Spanish markets

(Telecompaper) Orange said it expects a small slowdown in EBITDA growth this year, from 2.7 percent comparable growth in 2018, due to tough competition in France and Spain. The company still expects to maintain its dividend at 70 cents per share, thanks to continued growth in operating cash flow and lower capital expenditure in 2019.

Telefonica service revenue growth improves, sees 2% organic growth in 2019
