Base takes crown for 4G download speeds in Belgium

(Telecompaper) Number 3 operator Base had the fastest 4G downloads in Belgium, according to the latest data collected by OpenSignal, which uses measurements gathered by a free app installed by users. The company achieved an average download rate over 4G of just under 45 Mbps, one of the highest recorded by OpenSignal and 5 Mbps more than six months previously, when it tied for the top spot with Orange.

Britain's broadband speeds 51 per cent slower than advertised

A new industry report has revealed that consumers in the UK are receiving broadband speeds that are less than half of the advertised rates.  A study by industry watchdog Which?
