EGNOS is a satellite based European augmentation system for GPS signals and the European Navigation system Galileo. Currently the next generation EGNOS V3 is under development. In this context the navigation performance and system engineer contributes to the definition, maintenance and integration of algorithmic functions of the Prediction chain facility PCF. Tasks and Responsibilities Maintain and justify scenario configuration w.r.t. real observed RIMS environment, satellite constellations and ionosphere Maintain and test algorithmic functions of the Prediction chain facility PCF, for several aspects to preprocess observations to determine corrections and bounds for satellite orbits and clocks to determine corrections and bounds for ionosphere delays to determine EGNOS network time. Support integration and troubleshooting of PCF algorithmic functions Contribute to definition of test cases and test reports, and to evaluate test results of PCF algorithmic functions. Requirements At least a Masters degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or Electrical Engineering More than 4 years of experience in SBASEGNOS and also GNSS algorithms and performances More than 4 years of experience in algorithm verification and troubleshooting and also system engineering processes and tools Experience in Software Development in C English fluent German would be a plus Ability to analyse complex technical problems Autonomous way of working Proactive and dynamic way of working.
