Following one of the biggest one-day point losses in Dow Jones history on Monday, are there companies in Greater Washington that stand with more uncertainty? Each company is different, but some, such as Arlington-based energy company The AES Corp., have greater exposure to international markets than others, said Terry Clower , Northern Virginia chair and professor of public policy at George Mason University's Center for Regional Analysis. AES closed Monday at $11.53 a share, a 3.92 percent drop.
