If Friday's opening hours of the Greater Toledo 2016 House and Home Show were any indication, northwest Ohioans are ready for spring, ready for some new remodeling trends, and ready to get cracking at re-doing their kitchens, bathrooms, or other parts of their homes. The home show, which runs through Sunday at the SeaGate Convention Centre downtown, was bustling barely an hour after its 3 p.m. opening with several hundred hardy souls daring to brave 60 degree February temperatures to see what nearly 150 builders, remodelers, and home product vendors had to offer.
