This vacancy note concerns an onsite consulting position at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt, Germany. Oracle WebCenter Content Support 1313106 Job Description The consultant will participate in the following activities Analyse user and system requirements for enhancing DMT, Website, Intranet services and related applications, Perform trade off analysis, design and implement agreed changes and enhancements including redesign and reimplementation as needed, Define and implement interfaces between the Website, Intranet and DMT systems and other standard or legacy systems using both open standards and proprietary interfaces, Integrate existing and new applications to the Website, Intranet and DMT systems., Provide third level helpdesk support on user and engineering level as well as related services, systems and applications, Contribute to the project planning, monitoring and reporting by providing resource estimates, schedule inputs and progress information, Document tasks and deliverables according to EUMETSAT standards and guidelines. In the performance of these tasks, the experts shall apply the relevant quality management and quality assurance procedures as well as system and software engineering standards. Required Skills and Experience The experts to be provided shall have the following required skills Extensive experience in Oracle WCC Web Content Management, Document Management system installation, implementation, integration, support, operations and maintenance, including Content Server APIs and tags, Services, Filters, Workflow, Collaboration, Content Tracker and PDF conversion, Experience of Oracle WCC implementations on Microsoft Windows, Experience in integrating systems with Oracle WCC, Experience in administration and configuration of Apache and Weblogic, Experience in XHTML, JSF, JSP, JavaScript, Idoc and Java using JDeveloper, Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2008 R2, Experience in documentation of software systems and project phases, Good interpersonal and communication skills in order to interact with EUMETSAT groups and members of personnel responsible for content generation andor for providing requirements. In addition to the above requirements, experience knowledge in the following areas shall be considered an advantage Experience in maintaining and enhancing workflows using Oracle BPELSOA Suite, Experience with XSLT, Experience in LDAP, Active Directory and Single Sign On SSO, Experience in a structured project and service environment, Knowledge of change and configuration management fundamentals and principles, Experience in project management, ideally with formal methodologies like PRINCE2 or agile software development, Proven experience in formal documentation, preferably in a ISO 9000 certified project and service environment. In addition to the above requirements, experience in the following area would be favorable Experience in bringing content to iOS and Android operated devices. The variety of the tasks and the scope of the systems and services to be provided require a high degree of autonomy and good analytical skills together with a clear user focus. Fluency in English.
