Polyester intermediate prices are now bottoming out in the Far East, in line with a sharp rebound of crude oil prices in the last week. Demand is however not expected sharply recovering from polyester fiber producers, meaning that any rally of the polyester chain prices could be limited in both scope and time. Polyester fiber prices could now be contaminated and could also begin decreasing. Polyester Fiber Prices in China, India and Pakistan (Weekly Report)

Polyester fiber prices have obviously stabilized and they are not expected further rising in the coming period. With crude oil prices now falling whatever OPEC's production cuts, polyester intermediate prices could also drop and fiber prices would follow the same way, if operating rates are not reduced at fiber plants.
