Sr Specialist, Global Program Office The Hague, The Netherlands ROLE DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Global Program Office department is responsible for driving strategic and transformational Programs for Global Services business unit, along with Program management of quality assurance and customer profitability initiatives, working with cross functional teams to drive business objectives and facilitate operational excellence. Reporting to the Director Business Applications, this role will be supporting Global Program Office to drive key initiatives for Global Services, such as the Transformation phase starting in 2020, and to support on Business Support Systems automation initiatives. The Global Program Office department was setup in 2019 and needs to get to the next level of programmatics to get scalability and execution to drive, adapt and lay foundations for the Transformation of Global Services in 2020. The position coordinates those major Programs and initiatives, working closely with the senior management, providing them critical reporting, identifying important issues, evaluating alternatives, and providing recommendations. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES KEY RESULT AREAS Works closely with leadership team and participates in defining the framework of Global Program Office to get ready for Global Services Transformation phase starting in 2020 Organizes Programs and activities, and prioritize tasks in accordance with Global Services mission and goals Works closely with the respective Program sponsors, crossfunctionally, to define and followup the scope, deliverables and timelines for the execution of existing and new initiatives Programs Ensure the coordination with Supply chain, Finance, Project Controlling departments from a systems point of view to drive automation all over Global Services Supports in evaluation method to assess Program strengths and identify areas for improvement Identify, evaluates and overcomes Program risks and gaps Support changes and interventions to ensure Program goals are achieved Coordinates with stakeholders in a smooth, transparent and efficient way regarding Program issues and decisions to be taken Designs and produces accurate and timely reporting of Program status throughout its life cycle Support to maintain Programs governance structure and implement improvements. COMPETENCIES Strong team player with an ability to communicate, coordinate and lead crossfunctional, remote teams from various cultural backgrounds Strong analytical skills and attention to details, highquality approach towards work Highly skilled in the preparation of verbal and written technical communications and presentations, including assessments and recommendations for senior company leaders Capacity to prioritize tasks based on high level project objectives and schedules Capacity to adapt to challenging and dynamic project requirements and schedules Selfdriven, goal oriented and forward thinker. QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE Bachelors or Masters degree in business or Technology related field Minimum 7 years of professional experience in program management Understanding of project management processes Proven experience managing multiple stakeholder groups, in decentralized and geographically distributed organizations Experience using the Agile Methodology Experience using computers for a variety of tasks Good command of MS Office package Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook Fluency in English, any other language is considered as an asset Willingness to travel internationally. KEY DELIVERABLES Develop and maintain Program initiatives schedules, budgets, keep statusprogress up to date in an accurate and timely manner Quality of analysis and recommendations Management of risks gaps crisis Quality and efficiency of communication in the coordination act as a facilitator.
