ViaWest , the Shaw Communications-owned data center service provider, is being accused of misleading customers about reliability of its Las Vegas data center. Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt's office has asked the company to address the accusations in a letter, a copy of which Data Center Knowledge has obtained.

A Las Vegas Valley Water District spokesman told the Las Vegas Sun that a contractor working on a construction project struck the pipeline Wednesday morning. The agency says nearby resorts and commercial properties including the MGM Grand and Monte Carlo both owned by MGM Resorts would get their water from another water line.

Workers at a Henderson laundry facility were startled Tuesday morning to find two stillborn babies in a shipment of linen from an area hospital. A Henderson official said that workers found the babies in a laundry truck at the Angelica Corporation, 1080 Mary Crest Rd., at about 10 a.m., and called police.Henderson police spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said detectives determined that the twin babies were born at Spring Valley Hospital Medical Center.
