Apple making first TV series with Dr Dre - report

(Telecompaper) Apple is making its first original television show, a scripted series starring Beats co-founder and rapper Dr. Dre, The Hollywood Reporter writes, citing a number of sources. Dr. Dre will star and produce the six-episode show, called Vital Signs, with production bankrolled by Apple. The series will likely be distributed via Apple Music, the company's subscription streaming site, but it's not clear if Apple TV, the iTunes store or other Apple platforms (or even a traditional television distributor) will be involved. Apple and Dre declined to comment.
