Stora Enso will split its Renewable Packaging Division into two segments; the Consumer Board and Packaging Solutions, from January 1, 2015. The company has appointed former Nestle MD Czech Republic and Slovakia, Jari Latvanen as executive vice president, Head of Consumer Board and as a member of the Group Leadership Team and Hannu Alalauri, as acting head of Packaging Solutions.

Noel Morrin is an Irish citizen and has held several leadership positions in the field of sustainability and environmental affairs, most recently, since 2005, as SVP for Sustainability & Green Support at Skanska in Sweden.

Stora Enso to divest its Uetersen Mill

Helsinki, Finland, 2014-12-13 12:00 CET -- STORA ENSO OYJ STOCK EXCHANGE RELEASE 13 December 2014 at 13.00 EET Stora Enso has signed an agreement to divest its Uetersen specialty and coated fine paper mill in Germany to a company mainly owned by the private equity fund Perusa Partners Fund 2. The cash consideration for the divestment of the shares is approximately EUR 7 million subject to customary closing day adjustments. The loss on disposal amounts to approximately EUR 30 million and will be recorded as a non-recurring item in Stora Enso's fourth quarter 2014 results.
Stora Enso opens new biomaterials innovation centre
