000 ABPZ20 KNHC 132323 TWOEP Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 500 PM PDT Tue Jul 13 2021 For the eastern North Pacific...east of 140 degrees west longitude: Satellite imagery indicates that an area of low pressure located about 700 miles south of the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula continues to show increasing signs of organization. Environmental conditions remain favorable for continued development, and a tropical depression is likely to form tonight or on Wednesday while the low moves west-northwestward at about 15 mph. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...80 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent. An area of low pressure is forecast to develop well south of the coast of southern Mexico late this week and move westward at 10 to 15 mph. 000 ABNT20 KNHC 132320 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Tue Jul 13 2021 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: A non-tropical area of low pressure, located several hundred miles south-southwest of Cape Race, Newfoundland, is producing a few showers and thunderstorms to the east of its center. Although environmental conditions are only marginally conducive during the next couple of days, some slight development of this system is possible as it drifts generally southwestward over warmer waters. Although environmental conditions are only marginally favorable during the next couple of days, some slight development is possible as it drifts generally southward over warmer waters.
