000 ABNT20 KNHC 221134 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 AM EDT Tue Sep 22 2020 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Beta, located over the Texas coast, on Hurricane Teddy, located several hundred miles south of Halifax, Nova Scotia, and on Tropical Storm Paulette, located a few hundred miles southeast of the Azores. Showers and thunderstorms extending from the southeastern Bahamas westward through Cuba and into the southeastern Gulf of Mexico are associated with a cold front. This system is forecast to move slowly southward during the next couple of days, and then move back northward on Thursday through Saturday. Development, if any, over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico late this week is expected to be slow to occur. Showers and thunderstorms extending from the Bahamas westward through the Straits of Florida and into the southeastern Gulf of Mexico are associated with a frontal system. This system is forecast to move slowly southward over Cuba during the next couple of days, and then move back northward on Thursday through Saturday. Environmental conditions could be marginally conducive for some slight development over the southeastern Gulf of Mexico late this week. 000 ABNT20 KNHC 212305 TWOAT Tropical Weather Outlook NWS National Hurricane Center Miami FL 800 PM EDT Mon Sep 21 2020 For the North Atlantic...Caribbean Sea and the Gulf of Mexico: The National Hurricane Center is issuing advisories on Tropical Storm Beta, located over the far western Gulf of Mexico near the Texas coast, and on Hurricane Teddy, located a couple of hundred miles east-northeast of Bermuda. Showers and thunderstorms associated with Post-Tropical Cyclone Paulette located about 250 miles south of the easternmost Azores are showing some signs of organization. Only a slight increase in organization could result in the formation of a subtropical or tropical cyclone tonight or early Tuesday while the system moves eastward at 10 to 15 mph. By late Tuesday or Tuesday night, the system is forecast to move into less favorable environmental conditions, and further development is not expected. An area of showers and thunderstorms located over the Central Bahamas, the Florida Keys and the Straits of Florida is associated with a frontal system. Marginally conducive environmental conditions are expected when the system approaches the Florida Keys and South Florida late this week, and development, if any, should be slow to occur.
