You will join the Feeds and Filters team which is part of the Antenna Group. The team offer Design, Technical support and Management to many programmes. Generally the team is working on 20 projects on at any time formed from a combination of Antenna, Payload, 3S, ESA Programmes, etc. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and international team with over 30 years of space heritage and a constant flow of RD and innovation. The successful candidate will be subject to UK National Security Clearance in order to undertake related work in accordance with business needs. Your main tasks and responsibilities will include Microwave design, analysis and verification of feed chain components andor filters for space equipments. Use of design software associated with the above CST, Mician, other. Generation of reports, presentation material, and technical support with internal and external customers. Attendance at meetings, support RF testing of components, presentation of results and test reports. Possible situation for being the Responsible Engineer for a project, working with in the Feed group structure. Some product development work, and travel possible. This role will involve some travels for business and as such you must be able to travel accordingly. We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience Educated to a Masters degree in Physics, Electronics andor Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Previous experience the field of Microwave Components Design such as Feed andor Filter component, OMTs Orthogonal Mode Transducers. Knowledge in RF design. Knowledge of current Design tool CST or HFSS or Mician. Negotiation level in English. French andor German could be a plus.
