Indiana County Makes Changes to E-Waste Recycling Program After Theft, Illegal Dumping

Starting on January 30, the districts e-waste recycling trailer will only be open during office hours (8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday).

Counties in New York are being hit with the costs to dispose of these old devices and wrestling with what to do with it.

Beginning October 1, 2016, the the city will stop accepting e-waste recyclables due to a significant increase in disposal fees of electronics.
