Depaneling Machine separates metalized LED boards.

With max speed of 400 mm/sec, Model CL-100 can handle single-sided, metalized, or FR-4 panels of any length, with thicknesses from 0.8-3.5 mm. Machine uses 3 sets of round knives that are positioned at different heights to separate in 3 sequential steps. By using starting and ending table to lay panel, motor-driven machine enables operator to feed panel into and through knives. Table comes in standard length of 7.8 ft with 3.5 ft at front and 3.5 ft at rear.

Consuming 9 W of power, ENERGY STAR-qualified LED Omnidirectional A19 Lamp replaces 60 W incandescent bulb with more than 85% energy savings throughout 25,000-hr lifetime. Bulb produces 800 lm and radiates even illumination in all directions using 300° beam angle. Available in 2,700 K and 3,000 K correlated color temperatures, lamp offers dimming down to 10% on triac-based and other phase-cut dimmers. Bulb is suited for pendants and wall sconces as well as table and floor lamps.

Cree to consolidate Durham's LED factories

Cree Stock Falls After Announced LED Business Restructuring

Cree said it will restructure its LED Products business to "reduce excess capacity and overhead to improve the cost structure moving forward," in response to recent LED market trends leading to higher price erosion than it expected. The company will also increase its LED reserves to reflect the more aggressive pricing environment in the current quarter and to factor in a more conservative price outlook for fiscal 2016.

Cree announces major LED restructuring plan

Durham LED maker Cree announced Wednesday that it is restructuring its LED products business - the unit that creates LEDs for everything from televisions to mobile phones. Via a company statement, Cree blames LED market trends that have resulted in "higher LED average selling price erosion" than what had been predicted, as well as "the continued under-utilization of Cree's LED factory."
