Minimum wages have not been increased since January 1st in most low-cost countries in Asia. Negotiations are however being held for a new rise at the start of next year, whereas minimum wages have already been raised in Pakistan and in different provinces in China. Our report displays minimum wages in Asia's apparel manufacturing countries, with latest data updated as of October 1st 2017 in local currency and US$ terms, compared with January 1st 2015, 2016 and 2017. A comparison chart is now available.
