Harris Teeter is donating over $30,000 to the families of victims in the Mother Emanuel AME Church shooting after a month-long donation campaign. They will be presenting the donation Tuesday at the East Bay Trading Station Harris Teeter in downtown Charleston at 10 a.m. Mayor Joe Riley is scheduled to be in attendance.

DTE Energy officials and Local 223 of the Utility Workers Union of America say a reward is up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest of someone in the shooting of a utility employee in Detroit. The company said in a statement the worker was in his company vehicle early Saturday on the city's east side when he was approached by a man with a gun.

Delta Air Lines bans animal hunting trophies after Cecil the Lion shooting

Delta Air Lines, the biggest U.S. airline by volume, said it won't allow hunting trophies as baggage if they're from endangered species, as worldwide outrage over the killing of Zimbabwe's most famous lion by a Minneapolis dentist earlier this month shows no sign of abating. said in a statement posted on its website that " ffective immediately, Delta will officially ban shipment of all lion, leopard, elephant, rhinoceros and buffalo trophies worldwide as freight," and it will review all its other policies of carriage of other hunting trophies "with appropriate government agencies and other organizations supporting legal shipments."
