CSA Group has opened an office in Hannover, Germany which will be focusing on hazardous locations testing and certification as well as on functional safety. New team includes Herbert Peters and Gordon Neuroth, both of whom are well-established experts in hazardous locations testing and certification in the German market. They will work closely with CSA Group's global hazardous locations team to provide certification and associated services to German clients.

CSA Group opened a new laboratory for testing and certification of equipment used in hazardous locations. Located in Flintshire, U.K, laboratory is 27,000 sq-ft and utilizes latest equipment and techniques. It offers compliance testing as well as Ingress Protection tests, temperature rise testing designed to simulate real life conditions, explosion and flameproof test cells, fuel dispenser testing, and non-metal lab specifically designed to reduce risk of sparking.
