According to Feb 1 report by U.S. Census Bureau, nonresidential construction spending increased 0.3% in December, with outlays increasing to seasonally adjusted annual rate of $570.4 billion. Year over year, total nonresidential construction spending is up 1.2%. Increase was driven by private nonresidential construction, which rose 1.8% for month and was 7.6% higher than same time last year.
