iPhone 4S users rejoice: Apple iOS 9 to be optimized for older devices
2015-05-26 20:24:27| Extremetech
In theory, the release of a new OS version from Apple is supposed to be a reason to cheer, but if you own anything but the latest hardware, that's rarely been the case -- until now. Supposedly the upcoming iOS 9 will be explicitly tested on older hardware -- which should enable much higher levels of overall performance. Hopefully this will put an end to the days of iOS rendering older devices disagreeably slow come upgrade time.
