Apple brings Burberry CEO to executive team

(Telecompaper) Apple has created the new position of senior VP and appointed Angela Ahrendts, CEO of Burberry, to fill it, and to become a member of the executive team. Ahrendts will report to CEO Tim Cook. She will have oversight of the strategic direction, expansion and operation of both Apple retail and online stores. Ahrendts will join Apple in the spring.
