Following discussions with its largest bondholders and other creditors, the Company has today withdrawn the two summons dated 18 September 2014 and summoned a new bondholders' meeting and initiated a new written procedure, respectively, for the Company's NOK and SEK denominated bonds to be held and completed on 20 October 2014 .

(Telecompaper) Apple has withdrawn its iOS 8 software update after customers started reporting problems with their iPhone, the New York Times reported. The software update Apple sent on 24 September ended up disabling mobile service on iPhones, among other problems. The iOS 8.0.1 update was intended to fix various bugs in the operating system for Apple's mobile devices. Apple said it was actively investigating customer reports and that it will provide information as soon as possible. The problem appeared to mainly affect users of the latest iPhones 6 and 6 Plus, and not older iOS devices. Users on Twitter reported that the update also disabled the Touch ID capability on their devices, which lets people unlock their phones with fingerprints. Fox withdraws takeover bid for Time Warner

(Telecompaper) 21st Century Fox has withdrawn its proposal to acquire Time Warner. CEO Rupert Murdoch said Time Warner refused to negotiate, while the proposed bid also depressed the Fox share price. While he still supports the "strategic merit and compelling financial rationale" of the merger, the company decided to wthdraw after the rejection from Time Warner and impact on its share price. In addition, Fox announced plans for a USD 6 billion share repurchase programme, to be completed in the next 12 months.
