Jimmy Choo , the upmarket shoe brand, is stepping into the FTSE 250 just six weeks after its A 550m flotation. The company's shares sold at 140p each in the middle of October have soared by nearly a quarter, and now stand at 172p.

PADUA/LONDON- Safilo Group and Jimmy Choo have announced the extension of their licensing agreement until Dec. 31, 2018, for the design, production and distribution of the Jimmy Choo eyewear collections of sunglasses and optical frames. "We are proud to count Jimmy Choo among our leading luxury fashion and top-growth eyewear brand," said Luisa Delgado, CEO of Safilo Group.

Choo, whose shoes have been worn by Hollywood stars such as Jennifer Lopez and Kate Winslet, will move to a new location at 699 Madison Ave., just one block from its current digs at 716 Madison Ave., the Daily News has learned. Brokers Eric Le Goff, Jim Downey and Sarah Fabian of Cushman & Wakefield represented Choo.
