A New York City police officer has turned himself in after allegedly attacking a female Metropolitan Transportation Authority employee on Dec. 23. Police said the off-duty officer had an argument with the 28-year-old MTA worker on the southbound platform of the D Train in the Bronx around 2:30 a.m. He then allegedly grabbed her and placed her in a bear hug before throwing her to the ground and chocking her.
