With much to be unhappy about, Coke is dropping 'happiness' ad campaign
2015-03-27 03:47:09| Beverages - Topix.net
Even though they've spent tens of millions of dollars on it over six years; even though they've run it in print, broadcast and digital media in more than 200 markets worldwide; and even though they went so far as to record a single of its theme song , it appears that Coca-Cola's no longer happy with its "Open Happiness" ad campaign. "The brand has asked 10 roster agencies to pitch ideas for Coke's next global campaign: Wieden+Kennedy in Portland, Ore.; David; Dentsu; FCB in South Africa; Martin Mercado; McCann in Madrid; Ogilvy; Santo; Sra Rushmore; and The Cyranos," Adweek reported March 23. Maybe it's because their new chief marketing officer, Marcos de Quinto, had a case of the New Broom Syndrome.

Stranded passenger unhappy
2015-03-22 00:55:11| Airlines - Topix.net
Kaye Whalan, her husband and two friends who had been at the Eagles concert in Auckland last Saturday, had their flight home cancelled the next day. She is appalled at the way they were treated and believed the airline changed the reason their 4.10pm flight was delayed from mechanical problems to the weather to avoid having to pay for their overnight accommodation.

Some 65% of Britons unhappy with broadband provider - survey
2014-12-29 14:41:00| Telecompaper Headlines
(Telecompaper) Some 65 percent of UK consumers are unhappy with their current broadband provider, according to an online survey of 1,363 readers of ISPreview in November and December. The survey found that 56 percent felt the quality of their service had worsened over the past year. Asked which aspect of their ISP made them least happy, 28.3 percent said "reliability", 24.9 percent said "speed", 17.7 percent "customer support" and 14 percent "price". The satisfaction level with speed has risen compared to a similar survey in 2012, when 40 percent said speed was their biggest complaint. Issues with reliability worsened from 17 percent two years earlier, and customer support from 7 percent. ISPreview's latest survey found that 46 percent of respondents said they planned to switch ISP in 2015 and 32 percent answered "maybe". Actual switching tends to be lower than expressions of intent to switch.
