Special to the Trib Long-term Yavapai County resident and businessman Judd Simmons filed his organizational papers to enter the 2016 Republican primary race for the office of County Assessor, according to a news release. Simmons moved to Groom Creek at the age of 10, attended Prescott High School, and graduated with a BSBA from Northern Arizona University.
