China's apparel exports have returned to positive territory in 2018, after falling for years. Shipments have however begun declining in November and December, mostly due to a significant decline of sales to the European Union. China's share of US and EU markets remains predominant, with Vietnam and Bangladesh still far behind the historical leader. Our statistical series provide a comprehensive picture of China's clothing exports in 3rd quarter 2018, with value changes per destination. Export data are also available over a 4-year period. In addition, the report includes a comprehensive review of US and EU imports from China per product category.

Cambodia Apparel Exports in Jan-Sep 2018 (Country Report)

Cambodia's apparel exports have stayed very strong in the third quarter 2018, enjoying a double-digit increase in dollar terms to most Western markets. EU's threat to possibly remove Cambodia's duty-free access to its market has just been reiterated by its Trade Commissioner with the 1-year procedure being officially triggered on January 29th. Certain apparel buyers could have already decided to partly shift to other origins. Our statistical tables offer a comprehensive view of EU and US imports from Cambodia in the 3rd quarter 2018, with percentage changes being calculated in volume and value terms. Turkish apparel exports face "severe blow" from No-Deal Brexit
