The price of copper has once again had an impact on Mueller Industries' earnings, this time in the second quarter of 2015. Memphis-based Mueller reported net income of $33.7 million or 59 cents per diluted share, compared to $35 million or 62 cents per diluted share for the second quarter of 2014.

The continued decline in the price of copper didn't slow down sales or income for Mueller Industries Inc. in the fourth quarter of 2014.
