New workforce training program under way in Lincoln

The program is a cooperative effort of the Lincoln/Logan County Economic Development Partnership , the Land of Lincoln Workforce Alliance, and Heartland Community College's Customized Training program, funded through a U.S. Department of Labor Workforce Innovation grant. Eaton's Human Resources Manager Patti Becker took program participants, instructors, and representatives of the participating agencies on a tour of the fabrication, paint, and assembly areas of the plant which manufactures breaker box panels, metering devices, and other related electrical equipment.
