09:23 Modi in Central Asia: Kazakhstan and India launch first drilling at Satpayev oil block

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi and his Kazakh counterpart Karim Massimov launched the first exploratory drilling of the Satpayev oil block by India's OVL and Kazakhstan's KazMunaiGaz. ONGC Videsh Ltd. had acquired 25% stake in the Satpayev oil block in the North Caspian Sea in 2011.
