As the beloved host of A Prairie Home Companion, Garrison Keillor is one of our greatest storytellers and humorists. In an evening offering charming and playful verse based on his new book, O, What a Luxury (Grove), Keillor will wax poetic on love, nostalgia, politics, religion, and other facets of daily life — locating sublime song within the humdrum of being human. This event is sponsored by OPB. Please note: Tickets for this event are available at two price levels: $30, which includes admission and a copy of O, What a Luxury, and $20, for admission only. Tickets are available at the Portland Center for the Performing Arts box office, all TicketsWest outlets, online at Portland5.com, or by phone at 800.273.1530. Books will be distributed at the event.
