The sale of cars, made by "GM Uzbekistan", in Russia sees drop by nearly 30 percent, said Minister of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan Elyor Ganiev during the meeting of the intergovernmental commission on economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia on November 26. The reason for a slowdown in sales is "unfavorable situation in the Russian market" associated with the ruble devaluation, said the Minister. Following the meeting, the sides have signed a protocol, which tasked the relevant authorities of the two countries to organize bilateral consultations on related issues prior to May 1, 2015.
