Toronto Hydro said about 50 of its customers remained without power on Tuesday evening, a day after a powerful windstorm swept through the city bringing down trees, power lines and other things that got in its way. The winds first hit Toronto on Monday afternoon, bringing gusts of wind that reached 100 km/h in some cases.
