With max peak surge current rated up to 5 kA (8/20 µsec pulse), radial-leaded varistors of AUMOV™ Series protect sensitive vehicle systems from voltage transients induced by load dump, jump starts, and other events. Phenolic coating option accommodates demands of harsh, under-hood environments with operating temperatures up to 125°C. Available in 5, 7, 10, 14, and 20 mm disc sizes, varistors have 16–50 Vdc range and also serve vehicle passenger compartment applications.
