AEM President Dennis Slater welcomed news that President Obama signed into law a $12.3 billion bipartisan water resources bill that will improve U.S. infrastructure, contribute to economic growth, and bolster international trade. Water Resources Reform and Development Act reforms how federal government funds and selects critical water infrastructure projects and streamlines environmental review and permitting process to greatly diminish wait times when undertaking construction projects.
