(Telecompaper) The US government has released a report on the future role of Artificial Intelligence (AI), ahead of the White House Frontiers Conference in Pittsburgh, hosted by President Barack Obama. The report, looking at the current state of AI, its existing and potential applications, and the questions that progress in AI will raise for society and public policy, concluded that the technology will open new markets and opportunites, but will also have a negative impact on jobs and the economy.
